Biography

In my professional experience, I worked primarily with students in an extra-curricular and academic setting. It was during my time helping students find their passion when I discovered mine was adult learning, career coaching, and equity efforts.

Throughout my career in learning and development, I've curated content around career growth and equity in the workplace. I enjoy facilitating content to learners, whether live or virtual, and thrive off the collaboration that transpires from discussion. Professionally, I hope to inspire others with my desire for learning and career growth, and provide support to those who want to take hold of their career and don't know where to start. I actively work to promote and implement organizational process improvement that provides equitable access to resources and experiences in an effort to remove the barriers that prevent employees of marginalized communities from reaching their career aspirations.

I reside in the Northern Virginia area, spending most of my time between Leesburg and Arlington. Post-COVID lockdown, I’ve made an intentional effort to prioritize my mental health and find peace in nature. Outside of work, I carve out time to reconnect with myself, whether it's planning a dinner date with friends, taking a hike through a trail, or going to blow off some steam at the gym. I am a believer in taking care of yourself before helping others and do my best to intentionally integrate reflective practices into my routine that allow me to put myself first.
